Born and raised in Alabama I received my BFA at Birmingham Southern College with a focus in sculpture. After graduation, I started a jewelry company that was represented in over 100 stores across the US. Realizing that I was not fulfilled making jewelry, I became a sales based interior design consultant. Eighteen months ago I met my musician husband who encouraged me to overcome my fear and pursue my passion for sculpting. I now sculpt full-time in my studio located in Greenville, SC.

    Each of my sculptures and paintings celebrates the multi dimensional woman. Even during the most vulnerable points of our existence, there is an unexpected force striving to manifest. Through the process of creating sculpture, I am reminded that a beautiful strength can arise in the midst of chaos. My art conveys the reconciliation of these paradoxical themes.
